As well as being a avid Blackpool FC fan I’m also a SEO account manager at Just Search who are an SEO company. Basically we get website ranking on Google. After a little update from Google yesturday BFCBlog.co.uk can now be found on the first page for ‘blackpool fc‘.
So with that lets hope for a win tomorrow over Norwich and more of this….

6 in 6 can it be done?

It’s the thrid picture in the installment, it’s former Pool boss Steve McMahon, Macca who will be remember for three visits to the Millenium Stadium, returning with three wins and when he resigned then decided to stay as manager. Back in June 2000 Steve had to go to court for an accused assault on a off duty Police officer.
The picture of Steve McMahon coming out of court caught him jumping over the railings, all I’m saying is Steve McMahon -> Scouse -> Scousers are notorious of being burglars.

Since Paul Dickov joined Blackpool on loan he’s proved very popular scoring 5 goals in 5 games, his latest in the 5-3 win over Charlton this weekend
Not only the Blackpool fans have been singing his praises but Sky Sports have been too. A small clip has been placed online including some of his goals so far.

It was five of the best this weekend as the scored ended Blackpool 5 - 3 Charlton. It was a great match and vanished any memories of January when we went down 4-1 at the Valley. An eventful match which saw Blackpool go 2-0 up with Steve McPhee grabbing his first goal since his move from Hull. Kaspars Gorkss then scored a left footed volley from a corner.

Charlton then came back with two goals from Darren Ambrose to draw level at half time. Gary Talyor-Fletcher grabber his first of the afternoon to take the lead again. Paul Dickov then scored again, he plays he scores - five goals in five games now. Gary Talyor-Fletcher made it five with a lob-cum-shot-sum-cross which fell over Weaver to hit the post and go in. Fortune grabbed one to make it 5-3 but the away side were well and truly beaten.
Great game, great result and great entertainment.

This weekend Charlton Athletic visit Bloomfield Road to meet the mighty Blackpool FC. Last month we were the end of a 4-1 drubbing, lets hope we can get some pay back.

It was announced on the Blackpool site this afternoon that there were about 200 tickets left in the home end, which is a tad disappointing as we need to have the ground full for every game if the south stand is going to be built. It’s looking like that 75% of the games will be sell outs for the home fans, but how many fans are being put off by the lack of progress after the initial development?

After two great goals from Paul Dickov who is proving to be a great loan singing we crumbled under the pressure and conceded two goals. Really Dean Windass should have been sent off for an apparent punch and just being a bit of a wanker.
The surrounding area of the KC stadium is a bit of a shit hole, it resembles central drive in Blackpool. The floods in June 2007 may have helped washing the shit away, but the swearers burst and just more shit washed up.

One thing the residents of Hull (mostly chav’s) do have and can be proud of is the the KC Stadium.
It has a sign, yes it is missing the ‘o’ from council.

A frickin’ giant screen to watch the Villa V Newcastle game before.

Oh yeah the most important, four stands.

ReBlackpool is a website from the Urban Regeneration company who are helping to deliver the vision of Blackpool Resort Masterplan. I’m not sure if that ferry running aground was part of their plans. What is part of their plans is to re-develop the car park adjacent to the West Stand at Blackpool FC. Adding plants, seating areas and a general area to mull about.

The’ve put up a nice little picture on their blog which includes……….hang on……..a South-East stand!!! They have set a start and completion date of 2008 with a total cost looking at £1.7 million.

Three signings on transfer deadline day not a bad haul for Blackpool FC standards. First of on loan the vastly experienced Paul Dickov from Manchester City on loan for the rest of the season. ‘Vastly experienced ‘ is nice way of saying old codger, but still I think Dickov will be a good addition coming on from the bench.
As we do with new signing lets find a YouTube video, for Paul Dickov it has to be that legendary 95th minute equalizer again Gillingham for Manchester City to make it 3-3 in the play-off final at Wemebly.
Pavels Steinbors signed on loan from Latvian top flight club FK Jurmala, he joins Kaspars Gorkss as the second Latvian at the club. Pavel Steinbors is a 6′2 goalkeeper who has been on trail at the club.
Unfortunately there’s no video for Pavels Steinbors so it’s just a nice picture of him, nice fringe.

The pick of the bunch is Stuart Green, a midfielder from Crystal Palace who we tried to capture when he left for Palace from Hull a while ago. Green has signed a 18-month contract at Bloomfield Road and may be the solution to the right had side of midfield. One video of him smashing in a free kick against Leicester, lets hope for some of that tomorrow as we take on Leicester.
