Another Adam Hammill video this time scoring two goals against Southport reserves for Liverpool reserves, the first a great shot / lob the second just a mazy run taking it past three players and then slotting in the back of the net.
He is going to be a star.
Edit: Main video has been removed, two have are still live.
Which one is the best? Add your comment?

Not the greatest of results and we’ve racked up 9 injures with Shaun Barker, Steve Kabba and Stephen McPhee adding to the list last night. Some pictures from the match have been posted via the Seasiders Mailing List (now linked to at the bottom in the blog roll) and there a highlights video of the game on youtube.
Two highlights in the video Ben Burgess hitting the bar and Keith Southern having a shot blocked by the ref.

There are few great Blackpool FC Videos out there but this highlights video for August September 2007 takes it to another level. Posted through the Seasiders Mailing List (I suggest being a memeber) by Peter Gillett of the old Seasiders.net. The music to go along with the video is James – Born of frustration.

Former Pool midfielder Michael Flynn has signed for Huddersfield Town joining up with former Seasider Keigan Parker. I for one expected Flynn to make much more of an impact at Blackpool FC, he was the top scorer and captain at Gillingham and had a few seasons in the Championship already under the belt. He did make a lot of starts in the season but never really shone.
It shows how we’ve moved on if the players we are releasing are moving to lower league clubs! With the Shrewsbury freindly on Friday It would be good to see a new face in the squad! David Vaughan anyone?

Liverpool youngster Adam Hammill has signed for Blackpool on loan from Liverpool, this is a great signing. He’s been touted as the next Ronaldo / Joe Cole with a few tricks in his back pocket. It looks like we might have the new Wes. All I need to say is watch this goal against Celtic.
Edit : Just found this video, slightly strange.

Big Ben Burgess may get some stick time to time (remember top scorer last season) but he’s a good journo. Reading some of his work last season in the Gazette he mentioned how after his career he would like to become a sports journalist. This season he’s got his own blog on the Sport of the World website.

Ben will be adding a new article on a weekly basis and he’s started with some stories about pre-season training including how the new training tops dyed everyone blue. To read the blog just click here.

Bish bosh bang another two signings, as expected Jermaine Wright on a free after leaving Southampton and one that no one predicted Steve Kabba from Watford on loan.
Apparently Kabba’s had a torrid time at Watford, only one goal in two years has made him surplus to requirements. Searching for a picture of Steve to stick on here I’ve found a blog laying into him, apparently he’s a an unlucky player, that translates to a donkey. If anyones going to get something out of a donkey it’s Simon Grayson, all I’m saying, Ben Burgess 10 goals last season!

After the big news about the South Stand being build theres been loads of transfer news, i’m going over all of them but there is one that sticks out. Gary Roberts has staying in the UK while Crewe are on a pre-season tour in Bulgaria. Apparently he’s going to be chatting with ourselves and Cardiff. About moving away from Crewe. He’s already on the transfer list after a couple of times missing training so a move is on the cards.
While checking out Robert on wikipeadia there a quality comment on there
In July 2008 he signed for Cardiff City football club for 30 footballs and a Clarkes pie.I’m guesing thats from a Cardiff Fan.

Call Bob the builder the South Stand at Bloomfield Road is go, there has been a statement on the offcial site saying that the stand will go ahead and it looks like Uncle Valerie is stumping up the cache.
“It gives me great pride and pleasure to announce that the new South Stand and South-West Corner will go ahead immediately. I am investing substantially in this new development in a full partnership with the Oyston family. I am delighted with the way the club has advanced since I became involved and may I take this opportunity to congratulate all those fans who have supported the club in these exciting times. My congratulations also go out to the directors, staff and our courageous players for their achievements last season. In particular, I wish to thank the manager, Simon Grayson, for the wonderful job that he has carried out, which has cemented our present Championship status. The proposed increase in seat capacity in the East Stand and the new 3,500 seats soon to be built in the South and South West corner will give, I believe, a clear signal to the football industry and potential new players for Blackpool Football Club that we are serious contenders to advance further. I sincerely hope that those fans who have been critical of the lack of a South Stand facility will be as pleased as I am with the news and will now get behind the club to add further momentum in our drive forward. The future is tangerine.”An interview with Karl Oyston advised that fans could be in the seats by the end of the year although the entire project has been given a timescale of 40 weeks!!

Like busses, you wait……..yada yada yada, another siging one that was coming Joe Martin from Spurs who spent the end of last season on loan at the Pool. He did well in the last game of the season and should become the player to replace Gary Taylor-Fletcher when he gets knackered after 70 minites!
There is no pictures of young Joe Martin on the new so here’s the next best thing a picture of popular 80′s band the Housemartins, yes thats Norman ‘aka FatBoySlim’ Cook.
