I was never confident of a win last night and it didn’t suprise me that we lost to Cardiff. It was a bit dissapointing that the goals came late. Ross McCormack who scored the second goal looks like a great player for Cardiff his strike last night was his tenth of the season putting him firmly at the top of the leagues top scorers.

Anyway role on Saturday and Watford away!

Pool take on Cardiff tonight, no change to the starting line up form the team that started agianst Palace on Saturday. Hopefully it should be a good game, but a draw would be a good result tonight.

Ian Evatt’s first league goal for Pool saved the day today to grab a point at a horrible Bloomfield Road against Palace. It was a pretty poor first half, Southern and Taylor-Fletcher should have scored with easy chances. Ben Burgess scored again, he was pretty rubbish for the rest of the match but if he puts the ball in the back of the net every week keep him in the team. I was impressed by Gow too, it was the first time I’ve seen him start a game.
It’s Cardiff on Tuesday which should be pretty hard and then off to Watford on the Saturday, I got my ticket today!

Oh dear, some Everton fans weren’t too happy about the David Moyes / Gollum jib and they’re responded with a few nasty comments.

So they don’t seem too happy, but thats not the real problem, the real problem is that they’re feeling a little down due to the poor start to the season Everton have had. Knocked out of the UEFA cup, no clean sheets in the last 16 matches, 13 in the Premier League, no wins in 7 matches and your 16th in the league.

Thats your real problem…..calm down…. You’ve got Manchester United at the weekend! Three points in the bag!

We know that ex-Preston Manager David Moyes isn’t the best looking chap, some say he looks like a fish other that he looks like Gollum. We’ll here’s the proof with a little picture of David Moyes turning into Gollum.

Uncanny.

Well that was harder than it needed to be but overall a great three points over Derby. Many of the fans from Saturday were looking for Gow to start and he impressed tonight and must keep his place in the side as well as scoring one he had a hand in the other two goals. It was good to see Burgess get the third of the game but it’s looking like a front pair of Gow and Kabba is our best front two.
Roll on Saturday and Palace!

It’s half time at the Blackpool V Derby match and Pool take a 2-0 lead into the half time break thanks to Alan Gow and another great goal from Gary Taylor-Fletcher.
Two changes to the starting line up tonight, Coid in for Mo Camera (guessing that he’s not allowed to play for his parent club Derby or that he’s been dropped as he was shocking on Saturday) and Gow in for Kabba who is injured.
Gow’s goal looked a tad offside but who cares! And Preston are losing lets see how the second half turns out!

Who picks the Championship Team of the week? Someone that doesn’t watch the matches. From the dire game that was Doncaster V Blackpool two players made the starting 11. Shaun Barker of Blackpool and Neil Sullivan the Doncaster keeper.

To start Barker was dicked on for the first 20 minutes by Stuart Elliot. The Donny winger beat him about 4 times in the air from long balls and found himself out of position numerous times.
Sullivan didn’t do too bad, but Paul Rachubka at the other end pulled off the save of the match, that save alone from a Hayter shot should have made him the pick of the keepers on the day!

Well it wasn’t the greatest match ever but it wasn’t the worse 0-0 draw I’ve ever seen. In the end we hung on a little for the draw when Donny hit the bar and Chubs saved a one-on-one. We looked a little clueless upfront until Alan Gow was introduced, his cameo must mean a starting place on Tuesday against Derby.

Another win from England tonight, Belarus 1-3 England, with goals from Gerrard and a brace from Rooney. It’s best start to a World Cup campaign ever, Fabio Capello is proving to be a great manager.

As expected Belarus put up a great fight and scored a great goal to level the game up at half time, Sitko heading in to complete a 23-pass move. Two goals from Wayne Rooney put the game to bed and once again big Emile Heskey was brilliant upfront.
It’s good to be an England fan once again!
