My hero Brett Ormerod has signed on loan for Oldham today, he’s not had the best of times at Preston this season and it looks like he’s only chance for some first team football would be out on loan at Oldham.

It would have been nice to see Brett back at the club but at the moment with GTF on form on the right wing, Kabba and Burgess doing well upfront I wouldn’t see Brett getting into the starting 11, I suppose that shows how much the team has progressed over the years!

Well the first half didn’t go to plan but we got the result in the end. Overall it was an entertaining match and a good overall result. I thought that Big Emile Heskey was brilliant and unlucky not to get a goal, his through ball for Defoe’s goal was awesome.
He’s not everyone’s cup of tea and only 5 goals in an England shirt isn’t a great return but he brings something different to the team, like…..Big Ben Burgess!

It’s the international break and Kazakhstan visit Wembley this afternoon, and it’s on ITV not on Setanta. It should be a mauling of little Kazakhstan who are ranked at 120 in the world. They’ve got a brand new manager who’s changed pretty much the entire squad recently.

Anyway he’s looking forward to the game!

After a massive wait for the new Blackpool 3rd kit its been released today. The delay was down to Floors to go… going into administration, since then the new sponsor Carbrini Sportswear has been revealed and the new kit has been released.

In trends with previous years the kit’s black with tangerine trim, black shirts and tangerine socks. So head over to the official site for more details and get down to the club shop at the end of the month to pick it up.

Ok, with it being the international break I decide to get my Blackpool FC fix with the new Fifa 2009 which came out last week. I’ve been a Pro Evo man for the last 5 years but with the new Pro Evo out later this month and the new Fifa getting rare reviews I though I get the new Fifa for my PS3.
First of all I had to find a copy. At the moment in South Manchester there is only one shop to buy it from, Blockbusters in Fallowfield. I went on an hour long trip to find a copy around 7 stores. I’ve even done a little map.

Anyway it got it home and played it for about five hour as Blackpool. The best bit is when you select Blackpool in a quick game it automatically selects Preston as the opposition.

So if this break from the Pool is proving too much then grab a copy of Fifa 2009!

We were a little lucky this afternoon to grab a point against Cardiff, we were awful for the most of the match and it wasn’t for Cardiff being poor upfront we should have been 2, 3 down by the time Alan Gow struck the equalizer in extra time.
The goal from Gow was a great strike from the edge of the box into the bottom corner, it was surprising to see Cardiff stand off Gow as he brought the ball down on the edge of the box.
It could have been a different match if Ben Burgess’s goal in the first half stood, from my angle there was no offside, in recent weeks there’s been some shocking referee decisions, pity as towards the end of last season and the start of this one the bastards in the black have been pretty good.
It was good to see Stephen McPhee back in on the pitch but Adam Hammill still flattered to deceive after he started ahead of the injured Jorgensen. With the international break coming up it’s going to be a while til next match but at least we have England to look froward to! Were really good now!
