Arsenal 6 – 0 Blackpool
Posted on August 21, 2010
So we shipped a few goals today but we did ourselves proud singing from the first min to the last. Currently Chelsea are spanking wigan by six goals. We know have a benchmark against a relegation team, Wigan and against a top team Arsenal.
So now we need to see what we can do against a mid table team Fulham.
Anyway time for another beer on the train!

Was at the Emirates today, and fair play to you guys – you came to play football and not to kick us off the park which puts you well ahead of Bolton, Blackburn and Stoke in my eyes. I think you were a bit unlucky with the penalty shout, but I dont think it impacted the result that much to be fair. I thought your supporters were fabulous, and well done for applauding Theo’s hat trick and his substitution. We will play better and win one nil and you will play worse and pick up points – and I hope you pick up enough to stay up – its great to have you in the Prem. Good luck – and what a fabulous manager you have. Hope he stays too!
I still hope we thrash you at your place though!
We played well until Evatt went off – currently watching the match on Sky Sports 2 – you forget just how well until such time as it all went belly up. Anyhow, Arsenal away was always going to be a tough call. All we need to do is take points off the teams gracing the bottom half of the table and we’ll stay up. Next week at home against a lacklustre Fulham should steady the ship.
Lacklustre ??!!! Think you might be underestimating the opposition somehow….
what a day we had on Saturday ,so we got a bit of a footballing lesson ,but its a new team that needs time to gell .with ollie at the helm by xmas we should be turning out consistent performances picking up points home and away ,and who knows we might stay up with our heads held high .
but back to arsenal what a fantastic stadium ,comfy seats , excellent view ,no big queues at half time 4 food and drinks everything and more than i expected
And then there was us didnt we sing and party, a sea of tangerine in 1 little corner but arsenal knew we were there ,so did ollie who when asked gave us a wave when he must have been wanting the final whistle to blow , and charlie and the lads didnt slink off they came clapped and acknowledged our support
OH YES WHAT A DAY !!!!
