Bartosz Slusarski
Posted on November 20, 2007
Since the addition of Poland to the EU on March 1 2004 many residents of the UK have had a certain dislike to the influx of eastern Europeans to the country, perhaps due to the fact they show us Brits up by the amount of effort they put into work. At Blackpool FC we seem to have benefited.
Our president Valeri Belokon is from Latvia who also became part of the European Union in March 2004. Also Latvian Kaspar Gorkss signed, who has been a great signing for the club, pre 2004 the signing would have been impossible, remember Indrek Zelinski.
Today another signing, Bartosz Slusarski on loan form WBA, who were able to sign him from Groclin Grodzisk in the summer for £680K. The stirker has two Full caps to his name and European football. Sounds like a great acquisition to have till the start of the new year, at least we didn’t go for John Hartson!
