Welcome to Blackpool FC Blog a blog about the the mighty Blackpool FC. It’s been a strange time at Bloomers over the last two years with the team doing well, promotion to the Championship was achieved last season mainly thanks to Simon Grayson and a bit of investment from Valerie Belokon which allowed us to invest in good players for once. We played fast flowing football and ended up as the leagues top scorers. The season was completed with a win in the Play-off final over Yeovil and promotion to the Championship and second tier football for the first time in 29 years.

But….the issues still remain a lack of backing from the board and a half finished stadium….

Update : erm…. somehow we got promoted on the best trip we’ve even been on bring on the Premier League!
