Claus Bech Jorgensen an experienced central midfielder made a massive contribution to the team this season, his previous experience in the Championship with Coventry shone through. From 30 league starts he scored four goals, the most important the opener in the 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday late in the season at Bloomfield Road. A box to box midfielder Bech Jorgensen’s ability to break up play kept his place in the side ahead of new signing Mike Flynn. Claus was offered a new contract by Blackpool at the end of the season but is yet to sign.
