Elliot Grandin started his career at his local club SM Caen, he made 58 appearances scoring 8 goals. He was at the club while they won promotion to the top league in France. He moved onto Olympique de Marseille for a fee of 400,000 euro. He played 16 times scoring 2 goals, he also had a loan spell with Grenoble Foot 38 making 8 appearances. In January 2010 he signed for CSKA Sofia, he made 11 appearances scoring 4 goals.
Grandin made 3 appearances for the French Under 21′s side scoring 1 goal. He signed for Blackpool on a two year deal with a view to a third year.
