6 : Ian Evatt

Another good season for Ian Evatt which was halted by a nasty injury picked up in the home fixture against Colchester. The knee and ankle damaged caused by a tackle left him sidelined for two months which meant he only made 27 league starts. Standing at 6ft 3in Evatt’s a commanding centre back and at every set piece will join the attack, although he failed to score in the season. When in the side this season his partnership with fellow centre back Kaspars Gorkss has flourished and should continue into next season.
