Keith Southern

One of Blackpool’s longest serving players Keith Southern excelled, effortlessly making the step up to the Championship. An ankle injury in the middle of the season limited the number of starts and meant Keith missed both matches against local rivals Preston. A tenacious, box to box midfielder with an abundance of energy Keith started the season off with a goal against Leicester in a 1-0 win. Southern has predominately played in the middle of midfield with Claus Bech Jorgensen, next season Keith should hit the milestone of 200 appearances for the club.
