Paul Rachubka

Ever-present in the first Championship season Paul Rachubka continued where he left off last season with the number one spot. So much is the confidence in Paul manager Simon Grayson doesn’t name a substitute keeper on the bench.

An excellent shot stopper Paul or ‘Chubs’ has worked hard this season on his ability to handle crosses and corners. He did however conceded a howler in the last minute against Sheffield United handing them a point in a 2-2 draw. A long range shot from James Beattie was mishandled by Paul, his only mistake of the an otherwise successful season.

With no second choice pushing for the keepers’ spot it looks like Rachubka will be the Pool number 1 for some time.

    amazing keeper needs 2 up his game a bit now wiv gilks doin well in training nd gettin a few games in a keeper we really need 4 the future
