]]> Well its the first signing of the season….it can only get better. Former Blackburn Rovers and Nobber Marlon Broomes has joined on a 12 month contract with the standard view to another 12 months, so if he’s crap he’s not going to warm the bench for two years.

After hi stint down the road with Preston Marlon moved (he was part of a swap!) to Stoke City where he made 36 league starts since 2005. He snapped his achilles before the start of the 06/07 season which forced him out of the year. With Stoke going well in the season just past he didn’t get a match, so he’s a little rusty!
