With the announcement today that our new shirt will be in the shops for Friday the 13th (it’s set up for a delay) I’ve closed the poll on your thoughts on the new shirt.

From the 161 votes cast, 34% concluded it was “horrid”, 31% are disappointed but accept it, while 17% wanted a new design. 9 people didn’t care and 20 liked it, guess they will be first in the queue at the shop on Friday.

This week has all been about signings, to be exact the lack of them. At the moment it’s looking like Dekel Keinan will be the only signing to get a game before the opener against Wigan.

So the poll is about why you think we’ve not signed any players. Options are

- Low bids
- Low wages
- Players not up for challenge
- Training facilities

So to the BFCBlog Blackpool FC Player of the Season award for 2009/10……..and the prize goes to……Charlie Adam.

A total of 187 votes were cast and Charlie received 66% of the vote. In second place with 12% Brett Ormerod and in third Alexis??? (late night posting) Baptiste with 9% of the vote.

So well done to Charlie who wins nothing but further confirmation of what a great season he had.

So to the next question, pretty simple:

Can Blackpool survive in the Premier League?

The vote is over in the side bar to the right of this article. Get voting!

Another poll comes to an end, the vote was for the pick of the new lads and Rob Edwards deservedly came on top with 28% of the votes. The former Wolves centre back has impressed all since his summer move and has been handed the captain’s armband too.

In second place Steve Kabba the loan man from Watford with 24% of the votes. After a slow start due to injury Kabba has hit two goals and was instrumental in the Birmingham win.

In third place David Vaughan who also had a slow start to the season. With 13% of the votes Vaughan beats Adam Hammill to third with one vote extra.

The results from the first poll are in and its not surprising to see the results with Kaspars Gorkss top of the pile.

Gorkss pulled in 41% of the votes with Hoolahan in second and Crainey in third. Hoolahan in second is a joke as there as compared to last season he’s been below par but at least Kaspars in first place is a correct result.

Our next poll is about the south stand.

Note: There is a poll embedded within this post, please visit the site to participate in this post's poll.
