Busy times at Bloomers with all these game and new signings. Tuesday’s defeat was really hard to take. Watching the highlights today it looks like the 1st was offside, even with Coid a few yards deeper.

The pen also looks like Butler got the ball, something that was easy to see from the West Stand, where the lino was positioned.

Blackpool 1 – 2 Ipswich FT

It didn’t go to plan today which was partly due to ourselves and a little bit from referee Eddie Ilderton. We got off to a shocker again conceding an early goal to Ipswich, but after that started to get into the swing of things. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game with as many cross-field balls.

The pen looked an easy one to give for the lino, Brett played for it but not a surprise that Charlie missed. Second half we seemed to have Ipswich ready for the taking after the great goal from Brett.

Eddie Ilderton

Then Mr Eddie Ilderton intervened, the first on from my view looked like Evatt didn’t get the ball. The second looked really harsh decision, there were covering players and also Edwards didn’t look to know that Jon Walters was coming from behind him.

Here’s looking forward to some new faces in the coming week!

Derby 4 – 1 Blackpool Full Time

Well that didn’t turn out well, we pretty much caved in for the last 15 and Derby finished their chances off well, the second goal from Commons was a class curling finish into the top corner. Unfortunately the referee from tonights game Dean Whitestone didn’t help with constantly poor decisions for both sides. Anyway I’m rather tired now but a post about referee Dean Whitestone will be on the way similar to posts about another imbecile Iain Williamson.

Derby 1 – 1 Blackpool Half Time

Half time from Pride Park at it’s all square. We got off to the worse possible start when a Crainey header left Gills out of his goal, Hulse crossed to Commons who slotted into the empty net.

Then Mr Dean Whitestone tonight referee started to make some bizzare decisions including a corner when a Derby cross sailed high over all the players.

We lever up when Rob Edwards flicked in a Vaughan free kick from the right. Derby have had to make two subs so it’s looking good for the second providing Dean Whitestone doesn’t have a shocker!

Iain Williamson rears his ugly head

Over the past week I noticed a rise in the traffic to the site and its down to our old friend the referee Iain Williamson.

The traffic shot through the roof and it was all to the page about Iain Williamson. So why and where did it come from, well it was the Crystal Palace V Burnley match which Williamson officiated, he managed to sent off two Palace players and booked seven players in total.

A few Palace fans were not happy about the performance of the ref click here.

The fact that the ref was escorted from the ground by stewards and guards suggests it wasn’t his best game ever. Some of his decisions were past ridiculous and I had never heard before that you can get booked for tackling someone cleanly.

My word: Disgraceful

It seems the Palace fans really hate him including a hate club.

Refing the Malaysian Way

Recently in the English league there have been a few incidents with two footed tackles, with Carvalho’s lunge being the pick of the lot. In Malaysian a referee took things into his own hands when players started mobbing he ran to his car to get a gun and started to fire warning shots. Now I should add that the man in black in mention was a policeman hence the gun in his car but he was still taken into custody for suspected misuse of firearms.

Maybe :Iain Williamson: will have to look into purchasing a firearm as some of his matches are bound to to end in him being mobbed.

Watch out Millwall, our favorite referee Iain Williamson is back on the road and will be in charge of the Millwall V Brighton game this Saturday, for those who don’t remember have a look at the post about the plonker. Recently we’ve been have some good ref’s bar Mr P Joslin on Saturday, I wonder if we’ll ever be fortunate enough to have Mr W officiate a game at Bloomfield Road?
