The calender year ended with a great result with a final score from Layer Road of Colchester United 0 – 2 Blackpool. The two goals came in the first half both from Super Scott Vernon, Vern had been put in the side to give Ben Burgess a rest but will now look to continue in the starting line up for the Burnley match on New Years Day! What a year with a great end, lets hope 2008 will be even better! oh and Preston and Burnley lost too!!
Scott ‘ Postman Pat’ Vernon delivered the goals in the first half!
