Ian Holloway new Blackpool Manager
Posted on May 22, 2009
Sorry for the lack of updates on the blog recently but with the good news this week a new post was needed. Following the departure of Tony Parkes the reigns have been taken up by the one and only Ian Holloway.
He comes with a bit of a reputation as a joker and plays up to the press but listening to his interview it’s clear that he’s raring to get started.
His teams in the past have always been attacking and built around talented hardworking players. The current crop of players are hardworking but he’s going to have find some more talent. DJ Campbell and Charlie Adams should still be top of our list for summer buys, that still should be the case with Tommo staying on as number 2.
Even though the season was only over two weeks ago I now can’t wait for next season to start.

HOW WRONG HE IT WE WILL NEVER FORGET HIM AND ALL HE DID FOR THE CLUB AS A PLAYER AND OUR MANAGER. GOOD LUCK IAN. YOU CAN KNOCK ON MY DOOR ANY DAY. COULD SOMEONE PASS THIS MESSAGE ON TO HIM, HAVE A GOOD SEASON BLACKPOOL. PETER DAY.
WHY DOES IT NEED MODERATION
Preston fans are the reasons for the moderation.
Sounds like you gave him a good reception on Saturday?
