Scouting The Scum
Posted on November 23, 2009
It’s seven days till the scum visit Blackpool for the derby match and tonight the scum are played Newcastle United. In preparation for the match next Monday I’ve compiled a scouting report from the match tonight.

The Scum
01 Andy Lonergan
He once scored in a game but it more likely to the odd fuck up and flap at crosses. Last years winner from Charlie Adam was probably savable, but he has been known to pull of the odd great save.
03 Callum Davidson
Small, fat and injury prone. He has got a nice left foot and will be taking most of the dead ball kicks if Wallace isn’t fit.
05 Youl Mawene
Back into the team against Newcastle and looked to handle Andy Carroll well. He did gave away a pen felling Burgess a couple of years ago.
06 Neill Collins
On loan from Wolves he’s not been able to hold down a place in the midlands. Looked ok in the 1st half.
19 Billy Jones
Steady at right back and could be a threat from the odd corner.
04 Richard Chaplow
Not a hair on his body (he used to see this picture) but one of Preston’s better players on his day. Missed the last game so was slightly off the pace in the 1st half tonight.
07 Richard Sedgwick
Longest serving player in the team and one trick to run his defender down the line, cut back and cross. Spent most of the 1st half chasing Jose Enrique.
17 Paul Parry
Hopefully he’ll be playing rather than Ross Wallace next week. didn’t do much bar a header that landed on the roof of the net.
18 Micheal Tonge
On loan from Stoke and looked good in the 1st 10 mins but then was out of the match. It was his first start in over a year so will be a little rusty still.
09 Chris Brown
No, not the one that smacked Rihanna but the ex- Sunderland striker. Nice finisher if he gets a chance.
33 Neil Mellor
Still living off that goal from the Champions League for liverpool all those years ago. Still a little fat but a half decent left foot.
I think we’ve got the beating of them. Preston are currently out of form, which showed in tonight’s result. But form goes out of the window in a derby!
