Shaun Barker

Shaun Barker’s second season at Blackpool has been another successful campaign with him easily making the step up from League One. The majority of the season was spent at right back with the odd game covering at centre back. He’s a great asset to the team with his aerial ability and attacking nature from the back. This season he managed to be ever present in the league, along with keeper Paul Rachubka. Barker scored two goals this season, one against Colchester at home which ended 2-2 and at home in a 3-2 loss to Stoke City.

Before the start of the 2009/10 season Barker was sold to Derby for a fee around £1 million.
